In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
It is with profound grief that we have received the news of the martyrdom of the Minister for Refugees of the Islamic Emirate, Al-Haj Khalil-Ur-Rahman Haqqani, who was tragically martyred this afternoon in a cowardly attack perpetrated by the Khawarij (outsiders).
(Indeed, we belong to Allah, and to Him, we shall return.)
The Islamic Emirate regards the martyrdom of Haqqani Sahib as an immense loss to the Islamic Emirate, the Mujahideen, his family, and the Afghan nation at large. We beseech Allah to grant him the highest ranks in Paradise and to bestow patience and abundant reward upon his family, companions, and loved ones.
Al-Haj Khalil-Ur-Rahman Haqqani was an indefatigable Mujahid who dedicated his life to the path of Allah through jihad, migration, and enduring tribulations for the defense of Islam. A scion of a distinguished Jihadi lineage, he bore the brunt of enmity from the adversaries of Islam, with a $5 million bounty placed on his head.
Regrettably, he has now fallen to the treachery of the Khawarij (outsiders), a faction that deceitfully professes Islam while declaring other Muslims to be infidels.
This reprehensible act of cowardice, culminating in his martyrdom at the hands of the Khawarij, will neither diminish the resolve of Muslims nor succeed in undermining the resilience of our robust Sharia-based governance. On the contrary, such ignoble actions serve only to unveil the true character of Islam’s enemies and the malice underpinning their intentions.
