Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Visit Samarkand, Uzbekistan

H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, traveled to Samarkand as part of his ongoing meetings with Uzbek officials and cultural site visits.

Upon arriving in Samarkand, the Deputy Prime Minister was warmly received by Governor Adiz Boboyev and local officials. The Governor emphasized the strong historical and cultural ties between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan and expressed a wish to further strengthen bilateral relations.

H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and reaffirmed Afghanistan's commitment to strengthening its ties with Uzbekistan through their shared history and culture.

The Deputy Prime Minister and his delegation also toured important historical and religious sites in Samarkand, including the tomb of Imam Bukhari.
