Deputy Prime Minister Mawlawi Abdul Kabir Meets with a number of Ambassadors and Diplomats in Doha

H.E Mawlawi Abdul Kabir , Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of the IEA met with a number of Ambassadors and Diplomats yesterday in Doha ,capital of Qatar. The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohammad Naeem Wardak, Afghanistan's ambassador to Qatar, Mr. Suhail Shaheen, Head of the Political Office, and representatives from the United States, Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, and Australia.

The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs talked over Afghanistan's current situation, regional and global dynamics, and stressed over strengthening bilateral relations with other nations. He underscored that since the establishment of the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan and the announcement of a general amnesty, Afghanistan has not only been saved from war and bloodshed but has also eliminated animosities and resolved complexities.

Deputy Prime Minister underscored that there are no threats to individuals based on their previous roles, and many former officials have returned to the country through the Contact Commission, and are living in the country securely.

Deputy Prime Minister highlighted that the Islamic Emirate, following its economy-driven foreign policy, aims to avoid conflicts and foster good relations with all nations, in line with the Doha Agreement.

The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of IEA expressed gratitude to the countries that have accepted the representative of the Islamic Emirate Afghanistan and called for cooperation over coercion. He stated that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has extended its hand for engagement with the world, and it should not be viewed as a sign of weakness by the international community; instead, it should be welcomed and reciprocated.

Deputy Prime Minister said that security has been ensured across the country, which is a result of the cooperation of the people. He highlighted the establishment of a unified and independent administration where all citizens are required to obey the Supreme leader, and where corruption, embezzlement, and coercion are strictly prohibited.

Deputy Prime Minister Mawlawi Abdul Kabir reiterated that Afghanistan poses no threat to anyone now or in the future. He stressed that ISIS is an intelligence-backed project that has been effectively suppressed and eliminated in Afghanistan.He further emphasized that the Islamic Emirate respects the independence, territorial integrity, and sovereignty of all nations, and calls for reciprocal respect towards Afghanistan's independence, territorial integrity, and national sovereignty.

Deputy Prime Minister reiterated the call for the removal of restrictions on the banking system and the release of Afghanistan's frozen assets. He expressed optimism that substantial progress would be made in these areas during the upcoming Doha negotiations.

He also highlighted that over the past nearly three years, the Islamic Emirate has achieved significant success in its fight against narcotics and that cultivation, production, and trafficking of drugs in Afghanistan have been drastically reduced.
