Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Meets with Prime Minister of Uzbekistan

H.E Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan met with the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdullah Aripov, during his visit to Uzbekistan yesterday.
In the meeting, attended by senior Uzbek officials, Deputy Prime Minister Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi expressed his pleasure at meeting the Uzbek Prime Minister and highlighted the need to expand political, economic, cultural, and trade relations between the two countries.
In response, Abdullah Aripov, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, warmly welcomed Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi and his delegation and expressed Uzbekistan's readiness to cooperate with Afghanistan and other countries in the fields of mining and trade transit. He also stated that the implementation of the Trans-Afghan project would bring significant benefits to all involved countries, including Afghanistan.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs H.E Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi expressed gratitude for the warm reception and reiterated the significance of the discussions. He also noted that trade relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan had grown more than ever, leading to mutual benefits and strengthened ties in various sectors.
