H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met with Mr. Abibek Usmanov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Afghanistan, in Kabul.
During the meeting, Ambassador Mr. Abibek Usmanov expressed happiness with the solid relations between the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and Uzbekistan and highlighted the importance of further strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation in various sectors.
He stated that the government of Uzbekistan is eager to enhance economic and trade ties with Afghanistan. He also highlighted that Uzbek traders and investors are prepared to collaborate and invest in various sectors, including the establishment of health centers, the import of medicines, the construction of cement factories, and the purchase and trade of coal in Afghanistan.
H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, expressed his pleasure in meeting the Ambassador of Uzbekistan and appreciated his efforts to strengthen bilateral relations.
The Deputy Prime Minister also recalled his recent visit to Uzbekistan, during which he met with high-ranking officials of Uzbekistan and expressed happiness with the interest of Uzbek traders and investors in trade and investment in Afghanistan.
Deputy Prime Minister H.E Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi further emphasized the importance of developing and strengthening relations between the two countries, particularly in the areas of trade and investment, and assured that the Islamic Emirate would provide all necessary facilities for traders and investors.
