H.E Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met with Mr. Jamshid Khodjaev, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, yesterday afternoon.
In the meeting, Mr. Khodjayev warmly welcomed H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi and his delegation, expressing Uzbekistan's readiness to collaborate with Afghanistan in areas such as mining, trade of commercial goods, agricultural development, and facilitating goods transit and transportation.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan also acknowledged the growth in trade relations between the two countries, highlighting the establishment of a trade center in Termez as a significant achievement.
In response, H.E Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi expressed sincere appreciation for Uzbekistan's cooperation and underscored the long-standing and positive relationship between the two nations. He reaffirmed the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to further strengthening and expanding bilateral ties across all sectors.
H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister, also highlighted the investment opportunities in Afghanistan, assuring that the Islamic Emirate is committed to offering comprehensive support and facilitation to all investors.
